It’s that time of year, when school buses rejoin morning traffic and older kids move out to start their new journey. Whether they go near or far, it’s a big change, and your house can suddenly feel a lot different, like a new era just plopped itself down on you.
What’s next?
Here are a few tips to help you with “home for what’s next”:
- Invigorate your walls and trim with a new paint color for a cheerful re-set. You could start with one room and go from there. Although there are many neutrals to choose from, color is always an option, and color is back!
- Evaluate what can go. Some items may have become part of the scenery, but are no longer useful, especially if the purpose of the room has changed.
- Rethink a new empty room. New options include: a yoga room, a reading nook for a quiet getaway spot, set up your personal indoor botanical garden, and combine that with a wine bar. The possibilities are endless!
