PART TWO, the exterior
At the Sherwin-Williams event held at the beautiful Schumacher showroom/retail store, our S-W rep summed up the 2026 season by affirming “Color is back!”
More color is definitely in demand. Yesterday’s mini-blog showcased purple kitchen cabinets (S-W Autumn Orchard) in a recent home remodel.
The exterior (see image above) also enjoyed a new splash of color: Sherwin-Williams Faded Flaxflower, stately Charcoal Blue for the door/garage, and luminous Icicle for the trim.
Based on the transformative, complete interior remodel including two bathrooms, also by Lilac Dust Design, complemented by the paint color upgrades, this CA. property listed for a satisfactory $699k.
Coming up: a bathroom paint refresh from 1990s yellow to something contemporary, along the lines of S-W Window Pane. Stay tuned for the final reveal!
